TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been cancelled for our area, the potential for severe storms has largely faded, but we still have much-needed showers moving through, mainly to the south of I-4.

The front that's helping these storms develop pushes south through the day, so rain chances decrease from north to south during the late afternoon.

Slightly less humid air arrives tomorrow, but it will still be warm in the upper 80s. Just a 10% rain chance on Thursday and Friday.

Rain chances increase again for the weekend. There's a 30% chance Saturday and a slightly better 40% chance Sunday.

Looking long range, it should be drier again for early next week, but it stays toasty with highs near 90.
