TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - A tropical low has developed off the Jacksonville coast in the Atlantic Ocean. While it is not likely to organize and develop, rounds of rain will spin around that low today and tomorrow.

The pockets of downpours start to our north and push south through the early afternoon. Less rain expected later in the day, but the clouds may linger. It stays warm and muggy with highs near 90 degrees.

Spotty showers are back in the forecast tomorrow morning, and the storms drift inland by the afternoon. We still have a light breeze from the west with highs in the low 90s.

As the low in the Atlantic drifts north, it loses impact on us by the weekend. The overall wind pattern will be light, so the rain that forms won't move quickly.

Watch for a few spotty morning showers Saturday that slowly spread inland as the sea breeze develops off the Gulf of Mexico, and it'll be similar on Sunday.

Scattered downpours expected much of next week with highs staying in the low 90s.
