Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) - The classic summer pattern sticks around for the upcoming week which means each day will start out mild and dry with increasing rain chances through the afternoon.
Monday morning will be quiet with temperatures in the 70s. It'll be a hot day with high temperatures in the low to mid-90s and rain chances will increase after 1:00 p.m.

Storms will be scattered through about 4:00 p.m. and then drift toward the coast in the evening. Rain chances diminish after sunset as the rain heads offshore.
Although there will be scattered afternoon thunderstorms each day this week, we'll see a slightly lower coverage of storms Tuesday through Thursday thanks to a pocket of drier air moving in.

Tropical moisture should return for the weekend and increase rain chances once again.
The tropics remain unusually quiet for this time of year and no new development is expected over the next 5 to 7 days.
