TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Did you miss the solar eclipse?
WFLA created a time-lapse video of the spectacle, which could be seen over Tampa Bay on Monday.
The eclipse became visible in the Tampa Bay area shortly before 1:45 p.m., reaching its peak around 3 p.m., and ending around 4:15 p.m.
News Channel 8 captured the eclipse from a viewing party on Clearwater Beach. There's a bit of shakiness due to the movement of the sun.
Tampa area residents saw about 65% eclipse coverage, while those in the path of totality saw the moon fully block out the sun.
