TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - Overall, the coverage of rain this afternoon should be lower than in recent days. We have a 30% chance of a passing showers, and the rain spreads inland during the afternoon.

It will still be hot and humid with highs in the low 90s.

Watch for some downpours to push onshore tomorrow morning, so it could impact your commute to work and school. Those downpours drift inland through the day, and the rain chance diminishes in the early evening.

We could see a few morning showers Saturday as well, and once again, those downpours head inland and taper off early. Rain chances drop on Sunday to just 30% in the afternoon.

The rain chance remains slightly below average for much of next week as well. Highs stay near 90 degrees.

After making landfall as a Category 2 hurricane, Francine continues to weaken as it heads north. We are also tracking Tropical Depression 7 in the Atlantic. It should strengthen slowly but stay out to sea.

Three other tropical waves in the Atlantic do not have a strong chance to organize.
