TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A rescue was caught on camera when several officers helped three people trapped in rapidly rising waters in Tallahassee.

According to the City of Tallahassee Police Department, officers worked alongside local fire rescue and EMS to save the stranded individuals.

The video shows officers using a long rope to reach and pull them to safety.

"Do not let go of the rope," officials yell out. "Let go of the tree, you're okay, you're alright."

On Thursday morning, the Leon County Sheriff's Office shared photos of several rescues, along with the flooding in Tallahassee.

K-9 Deputy Jesse Matthew was seen helping residents in a mobile home neighborhood on Southern Bell Loop and Emily Loop. Officials said the storm left many of the homes underwater.
