TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - A thin layer of clouds spreads across the Tampa Bay area through the day today creating filtered sunshine. It will still be warm and breezy with highs in the mid 80s.

One or two afternoon showers are possible, but most of us stay dry today. The rain chance increases slightly to 30% tomorrow afternoon. The showers start near Florida's east coast and head west.

We have a long stretch of days with highs in the mid 80s. There will be a nice breeze each day as well.

It should be comfortable for the trick-or-treaters on Thursday. It'll still be warm during the afternoon for those heading out early, but temperatures drop into the 70s with a nice breeze after sunset.

Only tiny rain chances expected this week.

There is one tropical wave that may organize in the western Caribbean this week. Most models drift the system to the northeast into next week.
