There could be a few showers lingering into the overnight hours as temperatures drop to around 70 degrees Sunday morning.

Sunday will be very similar with slightly lower rain chances during the afternoon and evening with temperatures topping out in the upper 80s.

Rain chances stay low Monday and Tuesday with a better chance of showers by the middle of the week as the wind picks up.

Isolated to scattered showers continue through the end of next week with lows in the low 70s and highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Subtropical Storm Patty has formed in the northeast Atlantic and now has maximum sustained wind of 65 mph as it moves to the east southeast around 18 mph.  It is expected to move over the Azores with tropical storm force wind on Sunday before it weakens before making landfall in northern Portugal.

There are two other tropical waves we are watching besides Patty. One in the southern Caribbean has an 80% chance of development as an area of low pressure is expected to form early next week. Models show this moving into the central Gulf of Mexico and possibly becoming a tropical depression. One other wave has a 10% chance of development near Puerto Rico, but this one is not expected to develop as it moves to the west.
