This morning starts out sunny and dry with temperatures starting out in the low 70s across the Bay Area. It will be rather humid Sunday afternoon with a few passing showers mid to late afternoon as highs rise to the upper 80s.

Isolated showers will continue Monday afternoon as the breeze picks up. Highs will once again rise to the upper 80s.

A better chance of rain is expected late Tuesday and into Wednesday as tropical moisture move through our area. Lows will be very warm for November, only falling into the mid 70s with highs in the mid 80s as humdity stays unseasonably high.

Rain chances back off Thursday and into next weekend as lows drop to around 70 degrees, but highs stay very warm, climbing into the upper 80s.

Subtropical Storm Patty is now impacting the Azores with maximum sustained wind of 50 mph as it moves to the east around 18 mph.  It is expected to move toward northern Portugal and weaken over the next couple days.

There are two other tropical waves we are watching besides Patty. One in the southern Caribbean has an 90% chance of development as an area of low pressure is expected to form early next week. Models show this moving into the central Gulf of Mexico and likely become a tropical depression early this week and a tropical storm by Tuesday or Wednesday. One other wave has a 10% chance of development near Puerto Rico, but this one is not expected to develop as it moves to the west.
