TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Cold air is moving into the southeast this morning. Temperatures will only slowly warm into the mid-50s this afternoon. There will be some sunshine and passing clouds. Winds will be breezy and it will stay dry today.

Temperatures stay cold all week.

Along with the cold temperatures, rain chances will increase on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

No snow is forecast for our area, but North Florida will likely see a mix of snow and freezing rain Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Temperatures will not get cold enough in Tampa for any winter weather.

Although not cold enough for snow, the low temperatures will be in the 40s each day through Saturday morning.

The weekend looks much nicer with cold temperatures still in the forecast Saturday but a warming trend will be underway. Sunday will feel quite mild with high temps back in the low to mid-70s.
