Warm & dry Wednesday, stronger cold front arrives Sunday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Patchy fog will linger through mid-morning before giving way to sun and clouds this afternoon. It stays mostly sunny, warm, and dry with highs in the low to mid-80s.

Temperatures will be in the 80s each afternoon through Saturday.

A low 20% rain chance returns Thursday and Friday afternoon for a few spotty showers each day.

Saturday is the better day of the weekend with highs in the mid-80s and sunshine. It will be breezy but mostly dry.

A strong cold front will pass through Sunday with a few showers and thunderstorms.

The cooler temps will arrive Monday with highs in the 60s.

It is relatively short-lived with near average temps returning for the middle of the week with highs in the low to mid 70s.
