TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Areas of patchy dense fog are possible through 9 am before giving way to abundant sunshine this afternoon. Temperatures will warm much quicker today with highs in the upper 70s at the coast, close to 80 degrees inland.

Patchy fog is possible tonight as well with temperatures dropping to near 60 degrees.
Thursday will be another nice day with a few more clouds. A stray shower is possible in the afternoon and evening as a weak cold front passes.

The front will drop temperatures back in to the mid-70s for the end of the week and into the weekend.

A pleasant weekend is in store with cool temperatures in the morning and mild to warm temps in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-70s at the coast both days. More sunshine is expected Sunday.

The next best chance for rain will not come until the end of next week.
