TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A chilly morning will turn into a gorgeous afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny with a nice breeze and it will stay dry.

Tonight will be cool and comfortable but not as chilly. Temps will warm into the low 80s Tuesday afternoon with a few more clouds and a 20% rain chance for a few evening showers.
Showers and thunderstorms are more likely on Wednesday as a strong cold front passes through midday. The rain clears out Wednesday night and cooler air will arrive for the end of the week with highs in the 60s on Thursday.

A couple of chilly nights are in store with temperatures in the 40s and 50s Thursday and Friday morning.

Another front is likely to pass through Sunday that will bring another short lived cool down next week.
