A stalled upper low over the Gulf continues to pump moisture our way. It's been cloudy with rounds of showers and storms. That pattern will continue through Monday afternoon. While there will be plenty of dry periods, there will also be on and off downpours, with a few strong storms.
An additional 2-3 inches of rain will fall, helping to ease our drought.

That rain will finally end by late Monday leading to more sun and slightly less humid air for Tuesday and Wednesday. But after the upper low moves out, a heat dome will move in for late week and the weekend. That will bring both heat and higher humidity. That means highs will bounce back to near 90 with heat index values near 100.
