TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Keep those umbrellas close by today, although it won't rain all day, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across the entire Tampa Bay area by midday lasting through the afternoon.

There will be more clouds around keeping temperatures slightly cooler with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. It will still be quite muggy.

More of a typical summertime pattern is expected Sunday with a dry start. Temperatures warm into the low and mid 90s with rain chances increasing after 3:00 p.m. for a few spotty storms along the coast.

Even drier air moves in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday bringing rain chances down for a few days.

By the end of the week, tropical moisture makes its way back in and rain chances will increase once again.
