Line of storms arriving tomorrow

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) - As we wait on a strong line of storms to arrive tomorrow, it was mostly cloudy and warm today. We felt a breeze from the southwest at times as temperatures climbed into the low 80s.

The storms arrive in northern areas as early as 9am tomorrow, and the line pushes south during the day.

We have a slight risk of severe weather with these storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of our area in a 2 out of 5 for a risk of damaging wind gusts. The tornado threat is low, but we always watch for a waterspout to develop and push onshore with these types of systems.

Once the front passes, much cooler and drier air arrives. It'll feel more like early February rather than early April. It stays mostly sunny through the weekend.

We do warm back into the low-mid 80s by early next week.
