Cold front brings rain, storms and a cool breeze

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Temperatures start mild Sunday morning as a front looms to our north. Showers and storms will arrive around lunchtime here in the Tampa Bay Area with a minimal severe weather threat.

Early high temperatures will be around 70 degrees with temps cooling this afternoon with breezy conditions.

Monday will be much cooler with more sunshine, mainly during the afternoon with lows in the mid-40s and highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be windy and chilly with rain likely. Lows will remain in the 40s with highs in the mid-50s.

Showers linger early Thursday as temps stay cold, but the sky clears Friday. Lows are expected to finish the week with temps in the 40s and highs remaining in the 50s.

There will be plenty of sunshine next weekend with a slight warm-up. By next Sunday, highs will be back to the low to mid-70s with lows in the 50s.
