TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — It’s feeling more like June than April this week across Tampa Bay. A warm and dry pattern holds strong for the next several days, with afternoon highs consistently soaring into the low 90s and only limited rain chances on the horizon.

Today: Mostly Sunny and Warm With a Stray Sprinkle Possible

After a warm morning start near 73°, temperatures climb quickly. By midday, it’s already 84°, and we’ll top out near 89° by 4 PM. A light breeze and mostly sunny skies dominate, though a stray sprinkle is possible late in the day — only a 10% chance, so don’t count on it. Skies stay partly cloudy through the evening, cooling slightly to the mid-80s.

Late Week Heat: 90s Stick Around

Starting Thursday, we settle into a steamy pattern. Highs Thursday and Friday hit 92°, with mostly sunny skies and calm winds shifting from the southeast to northeast.

Weekend Outlook: Hot With Slim Rain Chances

Saturday and Sunday will be hot and mostly dry, with highs near 90–91° both days. Winds increase slightly Saturday out of the southwest. Sunday brings just a 10% chance of a pop-up shower, mainly late in the day, but most of the Tampa Bay area stays dry and sunny.

Next Week: Slight Increase in Moisture

Monday brings the best shot at rain, though it’s still only a 30% chance. Highs remain near 90°, and clouds begin to mix in a bit more. A lingering 10% rain chance sticks around Tuesday, followed by more sun and warmth on Wednesday. Highs all three days will be near 89–90°.
