Showers and storms will continue after sunset and taper off overnight as low temperatures drop into the upper 70s across the Bay Area.
There could be a few coastal showers Tuesday morning, but the greatest threat of rain comes early to mid afternoon as highs rise to the low 90s. Some storms could linger into the evening, but things dry out Tuesday night as lows once again fall into the upper 70s.
Rain and storms will move east Wednesday through Friday so the coast will stay relatively dry especially late in the afternoon and evening. With a westerly wind, highs will rise to around 90 degrees with lows close to 80.
Steering will change this weekend which means rain and storms increase along the coast as lows remain in the upper 70s and highs top out in the low to mid 90s.
The tropics remain quiet with the possibility of a wave developing in the Caribbean and moving toward the Yucatan. This will have no impact on our weather.
