TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa International Airport is experiencing major delays due to the severe thunderstorms in the area on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the afternoon storms caused a ground stop at the airport.
As of 5:30 p.m., 329 out of a total of 563 flights in and out of TPA are delayed and 42 have been canceled.
