Breezy and cooler Thursday, colder night ahead

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Temps are cooler this morning behind yesterday's cold front. Drier and colder air will filter in all day.

Temperatures will be slow to warm up despite full sunshine this afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid-60s.

It turns cold quick this evening with an even colder start Friday morning. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s away from the coast.

After the cold start Friday morning, a big warm-up is expected for the afternoon with highs back in the mid-70s, still below average.

Saturday will be the pick day of the weekend with highs back in the upper 70s and no rain in the forecast.

The next rain maker will come in late Sunday increasing rain chances. As of Thursday, it looks like most of the rain will hold off until Monday but be prepared for a few showers to move in Sunday afternoon. The forecast models are
